Description
This is also the annual festival of the Akayu Hachimangu Shrine. In this festival, three portable shrines (mikoshi) are designated for women, men, and middle school students and parade through the town together. It also features the Abare Shishii (or "rampage lion"), that appears in town and runs through the streets.
