Description
Annual Grand Festival of Kawakurasai's Kawara Jizo, where approximately 2,000 large and small stone Jizo's (deities) are enshrined. Kuchiyose (communication with deceased people's spirits) is held with Itako (blind women who train to be spiritual mediums).
