Description
This festival is held on both sides of the Nakanohashi bridge in center city Himi, as the consolidated grand festival of the Hiyoshi Shrine that watches over ten surrounding communities and the Hinomiya Shrine that looks over six. There is a mikoshi (portable shrine) parade, drum floats that are pulled around and even slammed into each other at times.
