Description
The Mitama Festival began as a traditional bon function, an ancient Japanese ritual. Today, it is celebrated as Tokyo's summertime seasonal tradition. The whole shrine is decorated with over 30,000 yellow chochin lanterns in various sizes, donated from all across the country.
