This festival carries on the legend of Shiranuhi. It is jam packed with many events such as local Ryuto drum performances, processions with lit torches, large-scale dance performances, fire work displays over water and the viewing of the Shiranuhi (a mysterious light in the sky that only appears at this time of the year).
