Description
The Mikoshi-arai ritual is held on June's Marine Day (3rd Monday of June), eve festival on the 30th, the summer purification ritual (Nagoshi no O-harae) and annual grand festival on the 31st. The mikoshi (portable shrine) procession marches to Sakai city is on August 1st.
