Description
Young locals in traditional jackets called Happi carry around a massive Manto, a pillar laden with paper lanterns in the shape of a pyramid, as the sound of flutes, drums and the Ohayashi echo throughout. Reaching up to 16m in height, these massive pillars carry a total of 90+ lanterns that paint the night in soft light.
