Description
A Tori no Ichi Market held since the Edo period, selling decorative rakes inside the shrine as good luck charms. "Ni no Tori" (second Tori no Ichi Market) and "San no Tori" (third Tori no Ichi Market) are held on the day of Tori during the same month of November. (Tori=rooster. In the old calendar the days used to be counted according to the 12 zodiac signs)
