Description
The festival of Yasaka Shrine boasting over 200 years of tradition. Besides the Daimyo Procession, there is a so-called "fight" that goes on during the last mikoshi (portable shrine) parade which gives the festival its nickname, "Kenka Matsuri", or Fight Festival.
