Description
The grand mikoshi of Yatsurugi Hachiman Shrine weighs 1.5 tons, making the festival known as one of the three major mikoshi festivals of Kanto region. Hondensai (main shrine festival) is held annually on the 2nd Friday of July, and the mikoshi parade on the following Saturday and Sunday.
