Description
After the youths of different communities have purified themselves in a bath, all kinds of sacred decorations such as "shime", "hachimaki" wraps, and "kendaiwara" made of straw are wrapped around their bodies. A piece of paper dabbed with hot pepper is kept in their mouth as the enter the festival ritual in straw sandals.
